John Marriott is professor of Religious Studies at Missional University and an adjunct member of the Philosophy department at Biola University. John is the former Director of the Center for Christian Study and the Kuyper Institute for Cultural Engagement. A former pastor, he holds the M.A. degree in Philosophy of Religion from Talbot School of Theology, and the Ph.D. degree in Intercultural Studies from Biola University.
John is a fellow for the Social Impact Research Institute, which focuses on the sociological factors that contribute to societal well-being. John speaks at churches and conferences on topics related to biblical studies, philosophy of religion, deconversion, and the relationship between the Church and culture.
