Ruth: Return-Glean-Lie Down-Redeem
The book of Ruth has 4 chapters. It includes 4 key verbs: Return – Glean – Lie Down – Redeem, which Brian Stapley will focus on in this short series. The book begins with Naomi, who has lost both her sons, telling her daughter-in-law, Ruth, that there are no more sons to take her in as a wife as was the culture of that day. Yet God provides for them both. By the end of the book,Ruth not only finds a husband from Naomi’s family but both women share the joy of a child and hope for the future.
Join Brian as he reminds us, through this biblical story, of God’s provision of a guardian-redeemer for each of us in the Lord Jesus.
